| The 1st annual Music on the
Meramec will be held at Fox High School in Arnold, MO.
The festival will be a field competition only. Field
competition classification will be structured according
to the number of schools entered and MSHSAA
classification in football (Class 1,2,3,4,5,6) or its
equivalent for out of state groups.
The competition is not a “prelims/finals” format.
Should any class be too small to “stand alone”, two or
more classes may be combined. Place awards will be
presented to ALL participating bands. Caption awards
(music, visual, percussion, color guard). Classification
of bands will not be made public or to the judges. The
schedule will be set-up “scrambled” based on when
entries have been received. Entrants will be evaluated
under the judging criteria from the
Mid-America Marching Band Consortium System #4.
