Nightrider Invitational Mustang, Oklahoma October 5, 2013 Bands are classified by school enrollment, grades 10-12 only. Under our four-class system, Class A is 600 students and less, Class AA is 601-1225, Class AAA 1226-1674, and Class AAAA is 1675 and above. The new classification system was adopted in 2012 in order to align with the Bands of America classification system.
The top 12 scoring bands regardless of class are invited to perform in the evening’s Finals. If a Class Champion is not among the highest scoring bands advancing to Finals, they will be invited to perform at Finals in exhibition. Performance order is determined by a “Top 6/Bottom 6” draw.
