The Columbus Marching Festival features both a
parade and field competition with the parade
beginning at 9:30a.m. and the Field Competition
beginning at Noon. The field shows will be held at
Memorial Stadium at Pawnee Park on a natural grass
field. Trophies for superior and excellent rated
shows are presented to each band according to
Nebraska State Bandmaster Association guidelines
along with awards for best percussion, color guard,
drum major and a sweepstakes trophy. CMF features
the full compliment of 8 judges according to NSBA
guidelines along with two additional clinicians that
provide each band with a 15 minute clinic following
their performance.
