This contest is a straight 1-1/2 mile parade
route with four band directors as caption judges.
Fifteen to twenty bands from all classifications
traditionally attend with an annual parade
attendance of around 4,000 people. Trophies are
awards to the top three places in all classes,
including grand champion trophies for auxiliary,
drum major, and sweepstakes.
