The 11th Annual Missouri Day Marching Festival is
only a small portion of the 23-year-old Missouri Day
Festival, which is held to honor and celebrate the
achievements of all Missourians. The festival
includes a parade competition, a field competition,
along with indoor percussion and auxiliary
competitions. Bands are classified by school
enrollment and divided by standards set by the
Missouri State High School Activities Association
(bands can request to move up to a larger class, if
desired). Bands compete for placement and caption
awards along with a Sweepstakes trophy.
