Hosted by the Alton High School Marching 100 and
the Alton Band and Orchestra Builders, Echoes Off
the River has been running since 1985. Held at
Public School Stadium at West Elementary School,
bands compete in classes based on number of
musicians for placement and caption awards. Bands
also compete for Grand Champion. Bands attending
this event may also wish to attend the
McKendree University
