Heart of America Marching Festival

The Heart of America Marching Festival is a preliminary/finals competition held on the campus of the University of Kansas. Bands will compete in classes (based on the number of winds) for placement, as well as caption awards including Outstanding Music, Marching, General Effect, Colorguard, and Percussion. Bands also have the option of performing for comments only. We invite you to take advantage of this positive and constructive performance opportunity.
