The Dutchmen Field Championship will start at 4:00pm. Featuring bands from
Iowa,
Minnesota,
South Dakota, and
Nebraska, the show attracts great crowds to Korver Field
(the first synthetic field turf field in northwest
Iowa) on the campus of
Northwestern
College
in
Orange City,
Iowa. Bands compete in
field competition in one of four classes.
Classification is determined by Iowa High School
Music Association guidelines (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A) and
the event is sanctioned by the IHSMA.

The Dutchmen Field Championship feature judges from
around the United States, all with BOA and/or DCI
experience. Most are currently directing bands that
are currently competing in regional and national BOA
contests.
