This is the 26th annual marching band
championship! 12 bands, regardless of prelims class (as
divided by school size), make finals. Bands compete
for caption awards (High Music, Visual, and General
Effect) and placement awards. An All-Star
adjudication team from the rosters of Bands of
America, Drum Corps International and Winter Guard
International.
