Columbus Marching Invitational

The Columbus Marching Festival consists of both a band\'s only parade competition in downtown Columbus and a Field Competition sanctioned by the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association at Memorial Stadium at Pawnee Park. The Parade Begins at 9:30 a.m. on 13th Street in Columbus and will be judged by 2 judges, 1 Music Judge and 1 Marching Judge. Trophies will be awarded to the top 2 bands in each class. The Field Competition begins at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Stadium and features a full slate of 8 judges trained by NSBA in order to provide an accurate early season look at your band\'s preparedness for the NSBA State Marching Festival held October 23rd. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place trophies will be presented in each class as well as certificates for Outstanding Marching, Outstanding Music, Outstanding Effect, Outstanding Color Guard, and Outstanding Percussion in Each Class. Trophies will be presented to the overall high scores in each caption, as well as Judges Favorite Field Show, and Overall Combined Parade/Field Score. |
