Murray State Festival of Champions

| This is a prelim/finals competition
held on the campus of Murray State University. Bands are
divided into five classes based on school size. Each
class winner advances to finals, along with the next
five highest scoring bands. Prelim performance times are
randomly drawn within classes. Ten to 12 finalists
(depending on number of attending bands) are selected
for finals. The contest begins at 9 a.m.
Plans are in place to telecast the Festival of
Champions on KET and PBS. ALL band performances will be
shown.
